Hitting a Wall to Learn to Slow Down
I have recently realized that it is possible to push yourself into a wall without realizing it until you've cracked your skull on it and you're bleeding on the pavement...Retrospectively I can see the wall speeding straight towards me at a maddening pace, but sometimes it takes being smacked in the face to realize there is a problem. When your life begins to move faster than your mind and body can keep pace there becomes a fine line between coherence and a drop into a downward spiral of insanity. Currently...insanity is winning...I seek to regain the balance...the fine line between coherence and insanity. As I slide down the spiral my fingers clutch the wall and all I can do is apply pressure and try to minimize the bleeding.
